Overview
In February 2023, RAWR travelled to Germany to attend the 110th Berlin Six-Day Race. Our mission was to capture the essence of the action-packed sport through the eyes of seasoned veteran, Max Levy, as he completed his final race. We produced a variety of photo and video content for Six-Days, with the stand-out piece being an inspiring extended cut of Max’s story narrated by Max himself.
Challenge
Max Levy, three-time Olympic medallist and four-time World Champion, bid a poignant farewell to his illustrious career at the renowned Velodrome arena. The moving event left no doubt that Max Levy’s legacy as one of Germany’s champion cyclists will endure for generations to come. Our goal was to tell the story of Max’s final lap and demonstrate the impact he’s had on track cycling.

Solution 1
Indoor track cycling is no ordinary sport. Fast moving cyclists, intense lighting, loud music and complex layouts meant our production processes required intense strategic planning.
Solution 2
With a deep dive into the sport and its goals, we created a seamless collaboration process. Our team established clear communication channels with stakeholders and set realistic, well-defined project milestones. The result was a partnership that ran like clockwork and next-level content deliverables.
Solution 3
As Max completed the flying lap in a lighting-speed of 12.67 seconds the crowd erupted in chants and standing ovations - all to the beat of his favourite song: “Mr Boombastic.” It was clear that Max had won not just the race but the hearts of everyone in the arena.
